Terms and Conditions

By paying a deposit for makeup and/or hairstyling services with Shelly Bhandari (ABN 77 918 929 031) you acknowledge and agree to the following terms. Please ensure you have read them thoroughly prior to paying your deposit.

1. Booking & Deposit

A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to secure your date and time. No booking is confirmed until the deposit is received and acknowledged. Until then, the slot remains available to other clients. If you pay electronically, please forward proof of transfer to Shelly.

2. Final Balance

The remaining balance must be paid before the start of your service on the day of the event. Only exact cash payments are accepted on the day. If additional services are requested on the day (and accepted by Shelly), payment for these must also be made that day.

3. Pricing

Prices reflect Shelly’s experience, ongoing training, the time allocated, premium branded products and service quality. Quotes are based on the listed packages regardless of hair length, texture or styling complexity. Prices may change periodically; however, quotes given within the last three weeks will be honoured.

Please advise at time of enquiry if you are a bridal client (including, but not limited to: engagement, mehndi, holud, walima, sangeet, reception) so the correct package is provided.

4. Travel, Call-Out Fee & Parking

Shelly typically operates from Western Sydney (Quakers Hill, NSW) and is available to for travel bookings subject to location and client numbers. A call-out fee applies and varies based on distance, day/time and number of service recipients — please provide exact location when enquiring.

Should the location change post-booking, it is your responsibility to inform Shelly as soon as possible; any change in call-out fee will be advised accordingly.

For hotel or apartment bookings, please arrange suitable parking in advance. Any parking/valet charges incurred are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

5. Early Start / Late Finish

Bookings beginning before 7:00 AM or finishing/starting after 6:00 PM may incur an additional fee of $50–$250, depending on the time and location.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Should you cancel your booking within 14 days of the event date, you will be required to pay the full original booking amount.

You must provide in writing (preferably email) your event date, location, correct number of people and start time. If these details are not communicated and timing or location changes significantly affect the schedule, Shelly retains the right to refuse to provide the services as initially agreed.

7. Timeliness & Time-Slots

You will be allocated a time-slot based on your booking. If you are running late, please inform Shelly as soon as possible. Significant delays may affect the service quality or schedule and may attract an additional fee of $30 per half hour for time spent beyond your allocated finish time.

8. Changes to Booking

If after booking you reduce services or number of people, the full booking fee may still apply at Shelly’s discretion. Time slots are allocated based on the original booking and other clients may have been turned away.

9. Additional Services / People

Any extra requests on the day (e.g., extra person, extra service) are subject to availability. They must be confirmed by Shelly on the day and paid for immediately.

10. Service Satisfaction & Refunds

Shelly aims for excellence; however, no refunds are offered post-service once makeup/hair is applied/styled and completed. If something is of concern, you must inform Shelly before she completes the service so adjustments can be made at that time.

11. Rental Hair Extensions

Hair extensions rented for styling must be returned in the same condition as issued. A refundable bond applies. Should pieces be missing or damaged, Shelly may forfeit the bond and charge additional fees for replacement.

12. Photography, Videography & Usage Rights

All photos and videos captured by Shelly are her property and may be used on her website, social media, and for marketing purposes. Should you wish not to be photographed or filmed, please advise prior to your booking.

13. Allergies, Medical Conditions & Hygiene

Premium, sanitized products and tools are used. Clients must declare any known allergies, skin or scalp conditions, head lice, infectious conditions (e.g., conjunctivitis, COVID-19 symptoms) prior to service. Failure to do so may void liability for any reaction or infection. Shelly may refuse service on hygiene or safety grounds.

14. Preparation Requirements

If hair styling is booked, hair must be clean, completely dry, frizz-free, and pre-straightened (if required). Blow-drying is not included in any package unless agreed in writing.
